The difference one sports bursary made for Morgan

Talented student-athletes often face the difficult challenge of balancing academic excellence with the demands of competing at the highest levels of sport.

Wits Sports Bursaries help remove financial barriers, enabling students to realise their full potential both in the classroom and on the field.

Morgan de Jager, a Wits BCom Honours graduate currently completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business, is one such student. As a South African hockey player, Vice-Captain of her team, Chair of the Wits Hockey Committee and a member of the Wits Sport Council, she continues to excel academically while representing her country.
